This composition, which features the indigenous Hawaiian sound of the 'ohe hano ihu (bamboo nose flute), depicts a Spirit so holy that among many people groups He is known as the Great Spirit, or in Hawaiian as Uhane Nui. This may very well be the first recording of the Hawaiian nose flute as the lead instrument accompanied by an entire band.
